Alzheimer's RespiteOur licensed day program for people with dementia allows family members a respite from full-time care giving, while their loved one enjoys a stimulating day of music, activities, sharing, and caring. We pair clients with trained caregivers who provide activities designed to improve communication and mental and physical health in a warm, stimulating atmosphere.
Family Support GroupCaring for a loved one with a devastating illness like Alzheimer’s takes a tremendous toll on a family. We offer a caring and supportive group to share ways to cope, resources, and stories.
I’m Home AloneMany seniors are living alone. Every single day of the year, Catholic Charities volunteers place friendly, personal check-in calls to those who are disabled or otherwise housebound. Often our calls are the only contact these people have throughout their day, and we have saved lives through this most welcome program.
St. Rose CARESVolunteers from the St. Rose parish provide transportation and other help accessing medical, social, and emergency services for older or disabled people.
