Homeless Prevention & Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP)

Homeless Prevention/Rapid Re-Housing
HPRP provides limited, short-term financial assistance (security deposit, rent or utility assistance, moving costs) for those who have lost housing or are at risk of losing housing. This is not mortgage payment assistance. Other restrictions apply.
(Funded through grants to Catholic Charities via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009/Homeless Prevention/Rapid-Re-housing Program).

The 4 steps to complete to apply for HPRP:
1- Read the HPRP Preliminary Eligibility Guidelines (rev. Dec 6, 2011); if you believe you qualify to receive assistance under this program, go to step 2.
2- You must complete the HHLC - HPRP Intake Application Form.
3- You must collect copies (No original documents will be accepted) of ALL the documents that apply to your situation to prepare for your first meeting with a counselor for the HPRP program. Use the HPRP Required Documents Checklist before you make an appointment.
4- Final step: Make an appointment and bring all required documents as outlined above.
