Four Seasons Giving ClubLINK TO OUR CLIENTS' SPRING WISH LIST NOW! Dear friends, May is “Memorial and Tribute Month” at Catholic Charities, a special time to honor someone you treasure, a time of remembrance, hope and renewal. May is also an ideal time to honor someone you admire or miss – parent, mother, spouse, friend, spiritual guide, fallen soldier, a cancer survivor or someone suffering …
As a tribute to your special someone, you can help someone in need by making a donation to Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities offers their friends in the community the opportunity to honor a special someone with the gift of hope, a warm bed to a homeless child, or an uplifting phone call to a lonely senior. Honorees will be recognized in a May Memorial Mass: June 10, 12:10 pm, St. Joseph Middletown, Fr. Leo Edgerly, Jr. June 9, 7:45 am, St. Helena Church, St. Helena, Rev. Msgr. John Brenkle When you make an honorary donation, a beautiful card will be sent to whomever you designate (see sample); your thoughtfulness and homage will be twice blessed. As always, your donation will benefit people in need in your community. Sincerely, Maureen E. Shaw Board of Directors P.S. Giving the gift of hope is a very special way to honor your loved one. Please do it today! DONATE NOW --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spring, 2008 Dear Friends of Catholic Charities, Friends like you often call to offer help for our homeless families! Thank you for your generous spirits and for teaching your children about the joy of giving. Our community is so generous that the obvious needs for seasonal parties, toys and food are generally filled very quickly. So we want you to know about the many unfilled needs that are so important to our children and adults. We believe you probably never thought about the challenges our families face to fund these special, unmet needs. Imagine how a child feels who cannot purchase a school photo or annual yearbook, who cannot afford athletic shoes to try out for the team, or who must stay behind while the class goes on a special field trip. You can make the difference. Think of the adult who needs a haircut for an interview, work boots for a new job, or even a gasoline card to make it to work the first week. You can make the difference. As you review more unmet needs on our list, we know you will see that filling these needs is as important as making any holiday special; that you will feel the same special spirit of giving, because these gifts will make a blessed difference in the lives of many homeless children and adults. Please take a moment to join Catholic Charities’ FOUR SEASONS GIVING CLUB.. If something doesn’t strike you this time, perhaps it will next season... Thank for you brightening the lives of people less fortunate! Sharon McCarty, Acting Director, Catholic Charities Carol Kempton, Four Seasons Giving Club Coordinator
